Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by Tom Erba - Bring it on. The crowd seem to be enjoying Walter's choice of entrance music: Black Sabbath - War Pigs . Omar Torres could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mark Walter's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter staying out of range there.
Torres stuffs the takedown attempt from Walter. Walter gets slowly back to his feet.
Walter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Torres counter with a right hand.
Walter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Walter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Torres counters with a stiff right hand.
Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good shot there by Torres.

It looks like Mark Walter has been cut.

Walter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Torres on his heels. He'll look to pass Torres's guard now, I'm sure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Torres keeping moving, preventing Walter from controlling successfully.
Torres wants to stand but Walter is controlling the position.

Walter wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.

Walter drops back looking for a leg! Torres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torres manages to kick Walter off! Walter jumps back into Torres's guard.
Walter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Walter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A telegraphed right hand from Torres misses the target.
Walter is looking to land body kicks.
Torres fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Some wild striking there from Walter.
Walter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Torres misses with a two punch combination.
Walter walks into a jab.
Walter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Torres to counter with a crisp jab.
Omar Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Walter.
Walter dives in and grabs Torres's left leg, looking for a takedown. Torres pushes down on Walter's head and hops out.

and Torres counters with a huge left! Walter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Torres isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Walter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Torres!
