And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chersen Lebeng!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lebeng darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kran is trying to get back to full guard.
Lebeng passes into side control, despite Kran's attempt to control the position.
Kran is looking for a sweep.
Kran is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kran is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lebeng off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kran connects with a big shot to the side of Lebeng's head.

Kran has got his arm under Lebeng's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Lebeng has spun round into Kran's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Kran is controlling Lebeng's posture.

Kran throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lebeng uses it to pass to side control.
Kran is trying to work for a sweep but Lebeng has mounted him!
Kran is desperately trying to improve his position but Lebeng has a good base and remains in mount.

Lebeng goes for an armbar but Kran turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kran.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kran keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lebeng's head.
Lebeng working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kran.
Kran trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kran throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lebeng works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kran loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kran drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lebeng looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lebeng looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lebeng!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kran is trying to control Lebeng's posture but Lebeng avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kran is looking to regain half guard here but Lebeng keeps moving and retains side control.
Lebeng misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kran trying his best to control but Lebeng has mounted him.
Kran is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lebeng misses with a head shot.
Kran sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kran looking for submissions off his back.
Kran is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lebeng seems to be looking for submissions.
Kran controlling the position well.
Lebeng is thwarting Kran's attempts to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kran trying to get back to full guard but Lebeng takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cam Kran dominated that round.

Lebeng defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kran.
Lebeng throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kran's head.


It looks like Cam Kran has been cut.
Cam Kran is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kran is defended easily by Lebeng.
Lebeng displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kran.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cam Kran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kran misses with a takedown attempt
and Lebeng counters with a nice uppercut.
Kran shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lebeng pinned against the cage. Lebeng gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lebeng tries to clinch but Kran moves out of range.
Cam Kran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lebeng enables Kran to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lebeng manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kran lands a couple of digs.
Kran throws a big elbow that misses.
Kran throwing strikes but missing.
Kran connects with a couple of short punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kran postures up in Lebeng's guard and throws a big left but Lebeng blocks it.
Kran scoring with some ground and pound.
Kran has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kran throws a strike but Lebeng rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kran keeping moving, preventing Lebeng from controlling successfully.

Kran throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lebeng escapes and throws Kran's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Kran is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kran sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kran wants to control but Lebeng is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kran is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Kran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kran is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lebeng's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lebeng's back!

Kran goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Lebeng escapes and is now in half guard on top.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kran is looking to control Lebeng's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kran avoid being mounted?

Lebeng is trying for a kimura here. Kran looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lebeng wins by kimura!
