Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Werner Klemperer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klemperer comes to the ring accompanied by Hogan's Heroes. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Cruz with that takedown attempt.
Cruz looks for a takedown but Klemperer sprawls well.
Klemperer connects with a crisp jab.
Klemperer tries to clinch but Cruz moves out of range.
Cruz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Cruz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cruz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Klemperer, up you get!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Klemperer is looking for a triangle but Cruz pushes his legs off easily.

Klemperer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cruz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klemperer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cruz's back instead.
Klemperer throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Klemperer. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Klemperer is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
I really don't envy Cruz right now.
Cruz is trapped and Klemperer is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Cruz turns into Klemperer and is now in his guard.

Klemperer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cruz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cruz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Klemperer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Klemperer wants to free his trapped foot but Cruz is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Klemperer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cruz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Klemperer.
Cruz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Cruz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Klemperer manages to get himself to full guard.
Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Klemperer is retaining full guard.
Cruz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Klemperer dives on top into guard.

Klemperer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cruz scores with a couple of nice shots.

Cruz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Klemperer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Cruz throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Klemperer has his hands clasped together but Cruz breaks the hold and Klemperer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Cruz!
