Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Al Fassak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodgeray Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kush Is My Cologne. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Fassak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodgeray Green! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fassak avoids it really well and circles away. A slapping leg kick lands for Fassak.
Green darts in trying to clinch and Fassak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fassak. Green is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fassak landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Green is trying to break the clinch but Fassak is controlling him. Green tries to land knees in the clinch but Fassak avoids the damage to the body. Green struggles to land a body shot inside as Fassak controls his hands.
Fassak pulls guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fassak manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fassak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Green swivels and escapes. Fassak with a poor takedown and Green counters with a shoot takedown. Fassak fights it but they end up in guard. Green looking to sit in guard and control but Fassak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fassak won't allow Green to sweep him here. Fassak stands and throws Green's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fassak working away. Green tries to bench press Fassak off him but Fassak keeps the position. Green looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fassak controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Green prevents Fassak from improving position.
Al Fassak has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Fassak misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fassak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Green's waist but Green gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fassak off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Fassak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Green shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fassak pinned against the cage. Fassak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Horrible takedown by Fassak or perhaps it was just good defense by Green which made him look bad. Green lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green shoots in and drives through. Fassak sprawls well. Fassak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fassak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Green sprawls well. Green wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fassak gets slowly back to his feet. Fassak fails to land the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fassak has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Fassak dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Green shoots in for a double leg but Fassak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fassak darts in and clinches Green up against the cage. Fassak manages to pull guard.
Green looking to sit in guard and control but Fassak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fassak is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green looking for a guillotine here but Fassak defends easily.
Green is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fassak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Al Fassak just wasn't active enough. Fassak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Green taking a breather. Green tries to score a body lock takedown but Fassak shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fassak is trying to drag Green to the mat but Green just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fassak drags the fight down to the ground.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fassak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fassak has his feet on Green's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fassak closes the distance and clinches. Fassak jumps guard and drags Green to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fassak uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fassak tries for a takedown but Green sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rodgeray Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fassak clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fassak unloads a knee to the mid-section. Fassak landing knees to the head.
Fassak keeps control of Green as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Fassak landing knees to the head.
It looks like Rodgeray Green has been cut. Fassak wants the takedown. Green is fighting it off but Fassak persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Green's guard against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fassak controlling from the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fassak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Fassak dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rodgeray Green's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Green tries to keep at a distance but Fassak has taken the fight into the clinch. Fassak is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Green pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fassak has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Green uses from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green looking to pass the guard. Green wants to stand and escape but instead Fassak has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fassak works a leg free and moves into half guard. Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fassak controlling the pace. Green looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Green is trying to control but Fassak manages to pass to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fassak has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fassak is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fassak extends the arm and Green is forced to tap!
