Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hippo Maimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hippo Maimer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Killer! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer lands a nice shot to the body.
Good leg kick by Killer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Maimer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Killer to score an easy takedown into full guard. Killer trying to control but Maimer is working from the bottom. Killer throwing strikes from guard but Maimer blocks nicely. Killer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maimer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Maimer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Killer is controlling him. Killer postures up in Maimer's guard and throws a big left but Maimer blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer pushes down on Maimer's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Maimer sees it coming and defends easily. Killer is keen to just control but Maimer is a slippery customer. Killer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Maimer wants to improve his position but Killer is controlling well.

Killer is looking to take a break and control but Maimer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jack Killer wasn't active enough on the ground. Killer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maimer was well out of range. Poor timing from Killer. Jack Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maimer misses with a wild combination.
Maimer moves out of range of the body kick. Killer moves out of range of the leg kick from Maimer. Nice defenses there by Maimer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maimer sees it coming and avoids it easily. Killer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Maimer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Maimer misses with a leg kick letting Killer counter with a right hand. Maimer's corner calls for a 1-2. Maimer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Killer throws a low kick but Maimer avoids it. Maimer misses with a two punch combination.
Killer moves into range and clinches up with Maimer. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maimer working hard to break the clinch. Maimer dodges an elbow strike from Killer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maimer breaks from the clinch.
Maimer swats away the attempt to clinch by Killer. Killer is looking to clinch. Maimer gets tackled into the cage by Killer. Killer maintains the clinch. Maimer blocks a body shot from Killer. Maimer is trying to break the clinch but Killer is controlling him. Maimer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Killer lands with a left to the head. Killer lands an elbow inside that Maimer shrugs off.
It looks like Hippo Maimer has been cut. Nice elbow from Killer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maimer gets a trip takedown into half guard. Maimer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Killer defending well though. Maimer trying to mount his opponent but Killer defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killer shoots and misses and Maimer counters with a lovely straight right hand! Maimer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Killer shoots and misses and Maimer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Killer's guard now. Maimer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Maimer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Killer is not content to let Maimer control the position. Killer tries to roll over but Maimer keeps him under control. Killer is trying to stand back up but Maimer is controlling him

Maimer is trying to control the action in half guard but Killer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Maimer decides to stand and escape the position. Killer throws a good cross that connects.
Killer misses with a straight left. Killer moves to clinch but Maimer breaks away and Maimer counters with a low kick, right behind Killer 's knee. Killer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maimer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Maimer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Maimer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Killer manages to avoid it. Maimer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Killer was well out of range. Poor timing from Maimer. Killer stuns Maimer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. An inside leg kick from Killer misses. Maimer misses the shot to the body. Killer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Killer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maimer. Killer misses with an uppercut
and Maimer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Killer thinking. Maimer throws a series of punches but Killer avoids them all with ease. Killer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hippo Maimer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Killer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Killer. Killer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Killer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Maimer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Killer. Killer obviously looking to wear him down.
Killer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maimer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Killer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Maimer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Killer can pounce on him.
Killer tries to close the distance and clinch but Maimer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hippo Maimer will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hippo Maimer's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice uppercut there from Maimer. Killer is looking to land body kicks. Killer has taken the fight to the clinch.

Killer scores with a shoulder strike. Killer has Maimer pressed against the cage, preventing Maimer from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Maimer wants to take the fight to the mat but Killer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Maimer tries to circle away but Killer has him pinned against the cage. Killer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Killer keeps control of Maimer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Killer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Maimer's efforts to push away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Killer misses with a punch to the body.

Maimer is trying to break the clinch but Killer has him pressed against the cage. Killer is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! You can see the frustration on Maimer's face as Killer controls the position. Killer postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Maimer is not content to let Killer control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hippo Maimer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Killer is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Maimer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jack Killer wasn't active enough on the ground. A slow jab from Maimer misses its intended target. Maimer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Killer avoids it really well and circles away. Killer gets a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Killer.

Jack Killer seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Maimer working hard to break the clinch. Killer lands a good knee to the midsection. Maimer won't want to take too many of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Killer obliges. Killer lands a nice shot to the body. Killer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Maimer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Maimer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Killer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Killer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maimer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Killer is looking to clinch but Maimer is avoiding it.
Killer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Maimer. Killer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maimer. That did some damage! Killer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer fails in his attempt to clinch. Killer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. This has been an exciting period of action! Killer wants to clinch. A kick lands to the mid section there for Killer. Killer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Killer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Maimer if he has to take too many more of those.
Maimer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Killer. Jack Killer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Killer thuds his right hand into Maimer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Killer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Killer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
