Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Indiana Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sook Madik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sook Madik looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Indiana Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sook Madik! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones with a nice cross. Madik looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Madik tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Madik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Madik looking for submissions off his back. Jones performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jones wants to take a breather but Madik is having none of it. Madik looking for submissions off his back. Jones is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madik on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jones decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Jones lands with a shot to the body. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. Madik actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Madik defends the submission attempt. Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Madik makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Madik. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Madik is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Madik is keeping the position for now. Madik keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Madik on the ground. Jones content to stall in guard here. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Madik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Indiana Jones. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Madik sprawls well. Madik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Madik stops Jones from passing to mount. Madik is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Madik get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jones lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Madik with a poor takedown and Jones counters with a one-two to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Indiana Jones dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Madik circles away. Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Madik moves out of range of the body kick. Madik gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Madik manages to retain guard. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Madik is retaining full guard. Jones trying to control but Madik is working from the bottom. Madik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Madik moves out of range easily. Danga de danga de dang - Jones scores with a four punch combination! Jones throws a one two combo.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Madik backs up against the cage.
Indiana Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones rushes Madik and presses him up against the cage. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Madik drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones! Madik gets back to half guard. Jones wants to take a breather but Madik is having none of it. Madik looking for submissions off his back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Madik looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Madik is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Madik! Indiana Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Madik but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Madik is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Madik has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Madik is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to control but Madik wriggling away. Madik is trying desperately to improve position. Jones scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The referee warns Madik that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jones get's back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Madik gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Madik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jones wants to control from the top but Madik keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Indiana Jones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones gets control of Madik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Madik drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Madik has Jones in his guard. Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Madik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones landing some decent shots from guard. Jones trying to control but Madik is working from the bottom. Jones working some strikes from top position. Madik keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones pushes down on Madik's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones working over Madik with some ground and pound. Madik looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Madik is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily. Madik wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Madik is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Madik can do to turn this around?

The ref stands the fighters back up because Indiana Jones just wasn't active enough. Jones is trying to control Madik's posture but Madik avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is looking for a sweep. Jones wants to control but Madik postures up. Madik has hold of Jones's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jones seems comfortable defending it but Madik has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Madik couldn't care less - he's delighted!
