Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Akyat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tom McKenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tiago Akyat! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKenzie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akyat circles away. McKenzie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McKenzie lands in his opponent's guard. Akyat wants to stand up but McKenzie is controlling him. McKenzie wants to control from the top but Akyat keeps moving. McKenzie working some strikes from top position. McKenzie won't allow Akyat to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKenzie controls from within his opponent's guard. McKenzie won't allow Akyat to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akyat keeping busy on the bottom but McKenzie has passed one foot through into half guard.

McKenzie stands up and beckons Akyat to join him on the feet. McKenzie tries to score with a low kick but Akyat moves his leg out of the way. Akyat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tiago Akyat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McKenzie throws a leg kick but Akyat sees it coming and checks it nicely. Akyat lands a high kick!
McKenzie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McKenzie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! McKenzie prevents Akyat from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akyat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McKenzie content just to control the position here. Akyat is desperately trying to improve his position but McKenzie has a good base and remains in mount. McKenzie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Akyat is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Akyat flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McKenzie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Akyat and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McKenzie slips an arm under Akyat chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McKenzie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McKenzie is squeezing on Akyat like an anaconda would it's prey. Akyat fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tom McKenzie!
