PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Nutzack Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into range and clinches up with Nutzack Jnr.
Nutzack Jnr misses with some punches.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith lands a jab to the head.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nutzack Jnr tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nutzack Jnr to the ground. Nutzack Jnr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smith drives through with a takedown into Nutzack Jnr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Smith. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
