Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Slayer! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Slayer misses. Slayer swings for the body but Penn moves out of range.

Slayer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penn moves away. Dog Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Slayer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab from Slayer. Slayer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Penn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slayer. Good shot there by Penn.
It looks like Super Slayer has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Penn wants to clinch. Penn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slayer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slayer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice jab there from Slayer.
Penn is rocked! Slayer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Penn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Penn lands a slapping body shot.
Penn seems to have got his legs back now. Penn scores with a punch to the head. Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Slayer.
Slayer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn's corner calls for a 1-2. Penn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Slayer is rocked! Super Slayer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Penn lands a nice hook to Slayer's body. Slayer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Slayer is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him? Penn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slayer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Penn scrambles back to his feet. Slayer walks straight into a right hand from Penn - that's dropped him! Penn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Slayer from any more punishment! Slayer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dog Penn! A relieved looking Dog Penn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
