The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pimpovic works Stanly's body with a nice hook.

Stanly has Pimpovic up against the cage in a clinch.

Stanly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pimpovic takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Aleks Pimpovic has been cut.
Stanly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pimpovic rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Stanly counter with a right hand.
Stanly scores with a jab. Pimpovic acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stanly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pimpovic avoids it really well and circles away.
Stanly is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Pimpovic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pimpovic fails to land with a series of punches.
Stanly misses with a wild combination.
Stanly lands the left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stanly tries to clinch up but Pimpovic circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown by Stanly or perhaps it was just good defense by Pimpovic which made him look bad.
Pimpovic gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pimpovic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stanly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pimpovic scrambles back to his feet.
Stanly shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcelo Stanly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pimpovic misses with a few strikes there.
Stanly Throws a clean left jab. Stanly Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Pimpovic's chin! Pimpovic crumbles to the ground and Stanly follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Stanly!
