Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tetsu Haramura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bessenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haramura comes to the cage accompanied by Racer X - Superheroes. Bessenger has chosen Hostile Mass as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bessenger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bessenger.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bessenger postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Haramura to stand up.

and Bessenger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bessenger.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Haramura tries to lock up and control but Bessenger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mike Bessenger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bessenger is taking a breather. Haramura says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Haramura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bessenger has the hooks in. Haramura is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Bessenger is controlling the position but Haramura somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Mike Bessenger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bessenger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
