Sendoh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sendoh wants it to stay on the feet. Sendoh tries a head kick but it misses.
Sendoh throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bertholf's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Sendoh dives in looking to finish as Bertholf flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Sendoh's strikes! Sendoh is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bertholf's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akira Sendoh!
