Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suzuki Pv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoost comes to the cage accompanied by Man With A Harmonica. Pv has chosen Got to have faith as his entrance music. The key to victory for Remy Hoost has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remy Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Suzuki Pv!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost misses with a body kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pv.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hoost manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Pv looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hoost with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pv trying to advance position but Hoost counters by regaining guard.
Hoost avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hoost wants to stand up but Pv is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pv controlling from the top position.
Hoost wants to stand but Pv is controlling the position.
Pv looking to pass the guard.
Hoost wants to get back to his feet but Pv is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pv in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pv wants to control from the top but Hoost keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hoost looks for the body kick but Pv saw that one coming.
Pv takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pv dives in and grabs Hoost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hoost pushes down on Pv's head and hops out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoost tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A big right from Hoost misses.
Hoost lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pv will feel that in the morning.
Pv shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoost sprawls well. He's pushed Pv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pv misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Remy Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Suzuki Pv.
Pv takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pv closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hoost's guard.
Hoost on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hoost tries to get out of the position.
Pv throwing strikes from guard but Hoost blocks nicely.
Pv trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hoost keeping moving, preventing Pv from controlling successfully.
Hoost keeping full guard, as Pv tries to pass.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pv wants to control from the top but Hoost keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Suzuki Pv will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hoost tries to clinch but Pv moves out of range.
Hoost dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pv. That did some damage!
Hoost lands a really nice looking cross but Pv seems unphased.
Pv shoots in for a takedown but Hoost shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Pv or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoost which made him look bad.

Pv feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pv trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pv looking to sit in guard and control but Hoost gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pv looking for a guillotine here but Hoost defends easily.

Pv working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoost doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoost manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hoost decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pv, up you get!
Hoost tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pv paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hoost throws a nice looking combination but Pv bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hoost tries to land a leg kick but Pv saw it coming and moves away.
Hoost pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pv back to the cage. Hoost follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pv takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hoost misses with a two punch combination.
Hoost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hoost lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A bone on bone clash there as Pv blocks the leg kick.
Hoost throws a body kick that misses.
Remy Hoost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pv looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Remy Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Suzuki Pv.
Hoost attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pv tries for a takedown but Hoost sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hoost lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pv shoots in looking for a takedown but Hoost manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pv's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hoost with a body punch. A glancing blow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Remy Hoost dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Hoost scores with a hook to the body. Pv takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Pv shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoost defends it nicely.
Pv ducks right into an uppercut from Hoost.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pv.
Hoost lands a jab to the head.

Hoost connects with a solid leg kick.
Hoost throws a series of strikes that have Pv backpedaling.
Pv throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoost's waist but Hoost gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pv off to one side.

Hoost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoost wants it to stay on the feet.

Pv pushes Hoost up against the cage in a clinch.
Pv wants to take the fight to the mat but Hoost manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hoost scores with a shot to the side of Pv's head.
Hoost prevents the takedown attempt.
Pv wants a takedown.
Hoost scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pv looking for a takedown.
A bit of stalling here from Hoost.
Hoost can't find room to land a body shot as Pv controls the action.

Pv takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoost lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pv backwards.
Hoost unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pv lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hoost cracks Pv with a nice body shot.
Hoost digs a right hand underneath Pv's ribcage. Pv let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hoost lands a body punch.
A shot in the inside from Hoost.
Hoost lands a nice knee to the body.

Hoost lands a nice shot to the body.
Hoost is working Pv over against the cage.
Hoost scores with a hook to the body.

Hoost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hoost tries to keep at a distance but Pv has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hoost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hoost tries to clinch there but Pv circles away.
Hoost throws a nice outside leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hoost moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hoost lands a right hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoost wants it to stay on the feet.
Hoost looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pv fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hoost avoids it really well and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hoost lunges at Pv with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pv's hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
Remy Hoost showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hoost has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
