Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Poppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mykka Hoivunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoivunen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoivunen misses with a double jab.
Poppy swings for the body but Hoivunen moves out of range.
Poppy throws a leg kick that misses.
Poppy tries a low kick but Hoivunen avoids it.
Hoivunen has Poppy up against the cage in a clinch.
Hoivunen is trying to break the clinch but Poppy is controlling him.
Hoivunen is trying to break the clinch but Poppy has him pressed against the cage.
Hoivunen is trying to push Poppy away but Poppy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Poppy is trying to pull guard but Hoivunen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hoivunen is looking to break free of the clinch but Poppy has double underhooks.

A frustrated look appears on Poppy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Poppy keeps control of Hoivunen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hoivunen tries to break free but Poppy pushes him back against the cage.

Hoivunen prevents Poppy from breaking the clinch.
Hoivunen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hoivunen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hoivunen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Poppy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Poppy misses.
Poppy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoivunen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Poppy is in Hoivunen's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Poppy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Poppy drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Poppy as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hoivunen screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Poppy! Nice submission victory there!
