Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mykka Hoivunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jeffrey Ramirez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jeffrey Ramirez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeffrey Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mykka Hoivunen! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoivunen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Mykka Hoivunen has been cut. Ramirez circles away from the clinch attempt letting Ramirez counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab from Ramirez. The fight stays on the outside here - Hoivunen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Hoivunen. Ramirez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hoivunen on the side of the head.
That has opened up Mykka Hoivunen's cut even more. Ramirez lands with a good body shot. Hoivunen moves out of range of the strikes. Hoivunen rushes Ramirez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ramirez has Hoivunen pressed against the cage, preventing Hoivunen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hoivunen is trying to break the clinch but Ramirez is controlling him. Ramirez prevents Hoivunen from breaking the clinch. Hoivunen tries to break free but Ramirez pushes him back against the cage. Ramirez tightens his grip and picks Hoivunen up, before dumping him to the ground. Hoivunen manages to land in guard. Hoivunen is looking for a triangle but Ramirez pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hoivunen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ramirez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ramirez seems to have locked his on tight now - Hoivunen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ramirez, as he picks up the win!
