Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Montee Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Name of the Game - Crystal Method kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Montee Daley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Danny Mac's chin.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daley.
Daley shoots in but no luck this time.

Montee Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mac has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daley uses from the top position.
Daley has gone for a leg lock! Mac slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daley's guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Danny Mac wasn't active enough on the ground.
Mac leaves Daley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Daley shoots in looking for a takedown. Mac tries to sprawl out of it but Daley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mac manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mac creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Daley's defenses.
It looks like Montee Daley has been cut.
Daley is trying to break the clinch but Mac has him pressed against the cage.
Mac's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Daley jumps guard but Mac stands there with Daley around his waist. Daley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Daley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mac swivels though and keeps the full guard.
