Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asbjoern Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy West has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asbjoern Anderson! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from West. Anderson misses with a body kick. West looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Anderson wants to control but West is keeping busy and won't allow it. West is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Anderson has managed to free his arm - good work. West thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anderson's head. West throwing shots but Anderson is blocking nicely. West is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Anderson trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but West manages to pass to mount!
Anderson is looking to improve his position but West isn't that keen on the idea. West looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. West scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's one minute gone in the round. West scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Anderson?
Anderson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. West is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Anderson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Anderson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. West prevents Anderson from improving his position. West is working for a submission of some sort.
West is breathing heavily. Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Anderson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. West is looking to advance position but Anderson won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson wants to control but West passes into side.
Anderson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but West wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. West is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Anderson looks calm but he's in trouble here. West gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Anderson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! West lets go of the hold and Anderson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Randy West!
