Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sjonnie Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robbie Lawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sjonnie Shadow! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Lawler.
It looks like Sjonnie Shadow has been cut. Lawler drives through and clinches with Shadow against the cage.
Shadow wants a takedown but no success here.
Lawler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Lawler. Those never looked like landing. Lawler bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lawler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lawler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lawler has Shadow up against the cage in a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shadow displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Lawler misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fighters circling - Lawler throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lawler fails to land with a series of punches.
Shadow has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Shadow's hands. Lawler has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Shadow misses with a two punch combination.

Shadow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lawler as he jumps to the side. Robbie Lawler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sjonnie Shadow. Shadow slips a jab and a cross from Lawler.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shadow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Shadow does no damage. Some wild striking there from Lawler.
Lawler closes the distance and lands a one-two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A looping hook to the body misses from Lawler. Shadow does a little dance to reset his feet. Shadow gets tackled into the cage by Lawler. Lawler maintains the clinch. Lawler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lawler!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Horrible takedown by Shadow or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawler which made him look bad. Shadow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lawler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Shadow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Shadow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawler tries to avoid it but Shadow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawler to the ground. Lawler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lawler throws a right and a left that both miss. Jab from Lawler.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shadow looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That has opened up Sjonnie Shadow's cut even more. Lawler throws a combination that misses and Shadow counters with a lovely straight right hand! This has been an exciting period of action! Lawler closes the distance and pushes Shadow back into the cage. Lawler breaks the clinch.
Shadow throws a nice looking combination but Lawler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shadow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lawler as he jumps to the side. Shadow swats away the attempt to clinch by Lawler. Robbie Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Lawler misses. Shadow is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lawler is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Shadow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lawler connects with a crisp jab. Lawler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No joy there for Shadow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shadow drops his hands momentarily and Lawler takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Nice defenses there by Lawler. Lawler gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lawler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lawler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shadow. That's four minutes gone in the round. Shadow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lawler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shadow somewhat. Shadow is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawler finish him? The fight stays on the outside here - Lawler looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lawler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shadow seems to have recovered his senses. Shadow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lawler. Shadow fails to land the takedown. Lawler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shadow shoots in for a takedown but Lawler shows good takedown defense. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shadow avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Shadow counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Shadow is keen to just control but Lawler is a slippery customer. Shadow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Shadow passes to side control. Lawler is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lawler tries to get out of the position. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lawler here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Lawler is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shadow is controlling him well. Shadow is looking to take a break and control but Lawler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lawler is trying to escape the position but Shadow is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sjonnie Shadow. Shadow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawler tries to avoid it but Shadow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawler to the ground. Lawler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. Shadow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lawler uses from the top position. Shadow not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shadow is pulling down on Lawler's head. It's preventing any offense from Lawler, at least for the moment. Shadow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lawler manages to get himself to full guard.
Sjonnie Shadow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lawler keeping full guard, as Shadow tries to pass. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shadow is pushing down on Lawler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lawler is fighting to maintain full guard but Shadow has managed to sneak the leg through.
And that's the end of the fight! Sjonnie Shadow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lawler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Robbie Lawler! A less than humble Robbie Lawler misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
