Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Sieve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tommy Fire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Sieve! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sieve closes the distance and clinches up with Fire, looking for a takedown. Sieve pushes Fire against the cage but Fire circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fire shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sieve napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sieve is trying to improve his position. Fire stands up and beckons Sieve to his feet. Sieve misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sieve shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fire counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sieve won't be happy with that. Tommy Fire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Sieve. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sieve regains half guard. Fire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fire throwing shots but Sieve is blocking nicely. Sieve trying to control from the bottom.
Sieve slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fire has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fire wants to pass the guard but Sieve is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fire passes into half guard. Fire postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sieve to stand up. Sieve looks for a takedown but Fire sprawls well. Tommy Fire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fire throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sieve was covering up waiting for the punch and Fire finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sieve looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fire passes into side control.
Sieve looks gassed! Fire working the ground and pound but Sieve is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fire grinds an elbow into Sieve's temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sieve is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fire knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sieve on the ground. Fire wants to pass to mount but Sieve is defending the position. Sieve avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fire. Sieve is looking to control Fire's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sieve avoid being mounted? Fire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sieve keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sieve wants to get back to full guard. Fire throwing shots but Sieve is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fire passes the guard and advances to mount! Fire pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fire looking to ground and pound but Sieve is blocking nicely. Sieve wants to control but Fire is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sieve is looking to get to half guard. Fire misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fire throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sieve because Fire loaded up on that one. Fire throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sieve wants to hold on but Fire pushes him away. Sieve is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Fire putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! This has been an exciting period of action! Fire working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sieve tries to lock up and control but Fire gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sieve taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Fire dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fire drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sieve avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fire. Fire is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sieve is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. An elbow from Fire crashes against the mat.
Tommy Fire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sieve sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Fire stands up out of the half guard. No luck for Fire with that takedown attempt. Sieve misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fire misses with a takedown attempt - Sieve sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fire tries for a takedown but Sieve sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Fire. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fire shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sieve is looking to improve his position.
Fire thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sieve is looking to control Fire's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sieve avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fire sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sieve defending well though. Fire throwing shots but Sieve is blocking nicely. Fire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sieve blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fire. Fire missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sieve is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ground and pound from Fire. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fire with the ground and pound but Sieve uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fire scoring with some ground and pound. Sieve can't keep his opponent in guard - Fire advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sieve wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sieve throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fire moves into full mount! Sieve won't be happy about that! Fire scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sieve?
Fire lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fire fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sieve is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sieve slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Sieve is breathing heavily. Sieve looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fire seems to be looking for submissions.
Fire wants to pass the guard but Sieve is defending well. Fire stops Sieve from getting back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fire throwing shots but Sieve is blocking nicely. Fire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Fire dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Fire fails with a takedown attempt. Sieve fails with the takedown. No joy there for Sieve, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tommy Fire is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fire. Nice takedown defense from Fire. No joy for Sieve on that attempt. Fire throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sieve was covering up waiting for the punch and Fire finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sieve wants to sweep here but Fire controlling him for the moment. Fire working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sieve takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sieve has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fire is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sieve. Fire connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sieve some visible discomfort.
Fire lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Fire throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Fire working the ground and pound but Sieve is defending the strikes. Sieve is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Sieve is looking for a sweep. Fire misses with the ground and pound. Sieve takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cody Sieve has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sieve looks to move to half guard but instead Fire has passed into mount! Damn! Sieve tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fire with a couple of short strikes. Sieve is bucking up trying to escape but Fire cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The referee warns Sieve that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sieve holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Fire tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Fire lands a nice shot to the head.
Sieve is rocked! Sieve gets back to half guard. Sieve is still in real trouble! Can Fire finish him? Sieve tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Fire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sieve blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fire. Sieve is trying to stand.
Fire frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fire landing strikes from the mount. A big strike lands for Fire! That's really hurt Sieve and he's turned his back - Fire keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Fire jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Fire!
