Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lack comes to the cage accompanied by red nation- the game, lil wayne. Balboa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye Of The Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Lack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Balboa! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Lack lands.
It looks like Michael Balboa has been cut. Lack misses with an uppercut. Balboa saw that one coming. Lack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Balboa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Balboa defends it nicely. Joe Lack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Balboa misses with a wild body shot. Lack misses with a combination
and Balboa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lack moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lack stalls. Lack misses with a punch to the body.
Lack tries to land knees in the clinch but Balboa avoids the damage to the body. Lack leaning against his opponent.
Lack lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lack working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Balboa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lack tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Balboa avoids it. Lack pushes Balboa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Lack misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Balboa dodges an elbow strike from Lack.
Balboa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Balboa throws a shot from downtown. Lack moves away and avoids it. Lack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Balboa defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Lack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lack shoots in for a takedown but Balboa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Balboa. Lack lands with a cross. Lack throws a right and a left that both miss. Balboa scores with a jab. Balboa scores with a jab. Lack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Balboa counters with a right hand to the body. Lack misses with a hook. Balboa ducked under it nicely. Lack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Balboa sprawls well. Balboa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lack gets slowly back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Balboa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lack.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lack throws a lazy uppercut
and Balboa counters with a three punch combo that has Lack backing up. Lack nods at Balboa to acknowledge the strikes. Balboa moves out of range as Lack strikes. Lack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balboa was well out of range. Poor timing from Lack. A cross from Lack lands. Balboa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Balboa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lack gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Lack tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Balboa is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Lack buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Lack!! Lack is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Balboa throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Balboa!
