Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akseli Suokuokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suokuokka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Bags - Cavemen Rejoice. Akseli Suokuokka has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Dope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akseli Suokuokka! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dope fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dope shoots in but no luck this time. Suokuokka gets a clinch. Dope wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Dope. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dope tries for a takedown but Suokuokka manages to get underhooks.
Dope tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Suokuokka just stands there and leans against the ropes. Suokuokka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Suokuokka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dope shoots in but no luck this time. Dope fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Suokuokka to the ground. Dope is now in Suokuokka's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dope tries to stand but Suokuokka is controlling from the bottom. Dope trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dope throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Suokuokka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Suokuokka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dope throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suokuokka controlling Dope's posture. Let's hope that Suokuokka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Suokuokka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dope manages to get himself to full guard.
Suokuokka postures up in Dope's guard and throws a big left but Dope blocks it. Suokuokka stands and throws Dope's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The strikes coming from Suokuokka are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dope is not content to let Suokuokka control the position. Suokuokka misses with the ground and pound. Dope gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Dope is squirming around, avoiding Suokuokka's attempts to control the action. Dope tries to hold on but Suokuokka postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dope blocking the ground and pound. Dope is squirming around, avoiding Suokuokka's attempts to control the action. Suokuokka throwing strikes here but Dope is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Suokuokka postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dope looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Suokuokka looking to ground and pound but Dope is blocking nicely. Suokuokka controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akseli Suokuokka dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dope. Suokuokka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dope. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Suokuokka. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Dope looks for a takedown but Suokuokka sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Dope. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dope. Suokuokka leaves Dope with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Suokuokka clinches with his opponent.
Dope drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dope with a lazy takedown attempt and Suokuokka counters with a crisp one two that drops Dope! Suokuokka thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dope to his feet! Dope is in big trouble!
Dope is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suokuokka connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Dope covering up! Suokuokka comes in with a big uppercut and Dope goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Akseli Suokuokka!
