The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Done is looking to clinch but Watanabe is avoiding it.
Sloppy strikes from Watanabe. Those never looked like landing.
Done bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Watanabe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Watanabe wants to control but Done postures up.
Done misses with the ground and pound.

Watanabe is refusing to be controlled, as Done sits in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Done is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
