Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borys Filipowicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Bisping! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bisping wants to clinch. Filipowicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bisping tries to avoid it but Filipowicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bisping to the ground. Bisping escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bisping tries to clinch there but Filipowicz circles away.
Filipowicz moves out of range as Bisping strikes. Filipowicz misses with a low kick.
Bisping lands a slapping body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Filipowicz is defended easily by Bisping. Filipowicz moves into the clinch. Bisping using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Filipowicz fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bisping is out of range. Bisping jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Filipowicz. A punch combination from Bisping misses. Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch but Filipowicz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bisping throws a quick inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Filipowicz dodges the punch combination from Bisping.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bisping has his foot on Filipowicz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Filipowicz works his way back into a safe position though. Bisping had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Filipowicz defends it easily. Filipowicz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bisping swivels though and keeps the full guard. Filipowicz passes easily into side control. Nice work. The referee asks Filipowicz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Filipowicz prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Filipowicz prevents Bisping from escaping the position. Filipowicz wants to control but Bisping is keeping him busy. Filipowicz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bisping knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Filipowicz working the head with strikes. Bisping gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Filipowicz passes the guard and advances to mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Filipowicz working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bisping is working to get back to half guard.

Bisping works over Filipowicz's head and body with a nice combination. Filipowicz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Filipowicz slips under a jab. Filipowicz closes the distance and clinches. Bisping tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Filipowicz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bisping's guard. Filipowicz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bisping tries to strike from the bottom.
Filipowicz throws a big elbow that misses. Filipowicz has gone for a leg lock! Bisping slips out almost immediately though and dives into Filipowicz's guard. Bisping wants to control from the top but Filipowicz keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michael Bisping wasn't active enough on the ground. Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up but Filipowicz swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Bisping showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Borys Filipowicz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bisping has knocked Filipowicz down with a huge combo! Bisping steps away and waves a wobbly Filipowicz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Filipowicz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bisping looking for submissions off his back. That's one minute gone in the round. Bisping is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Filipowicz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Filipowicz's back! You can see the frustration on Filipowicz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bisping punches the canvas rather than the man. Bisping has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Bisping trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Filipowicz trying to control the action but Bisping just sinks the hooks in. Michael Bisping is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bisping tightening his grip on Filipowicz, looking for the choke. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bisping is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Bisping comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bisping has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
