Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Krovitzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Trejo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Krovitzky! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trejo feints and as Krovitzky raises his hands in defense, Trejo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Krovitzky wants to stand and escape but Trejo is having none of it. Trejo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krovitzky works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Trejo stops Krovitzky from standing up. Krovitzky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trejo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trejo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krovitzky swivels though and keeps the full guard. Trejo stands up from Krovitzky's guard - Trejo perhaps looking for a knockout. Krovitzky gets caught napping as Trejo dives in and scores a takedown. Krovitzky manages to retain guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Trejo passes into half guard. Trejo prevents Krovitzky from standing back up.
Trejo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Trejo has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krovitzky closes the distance and clinches. Trejo is trying to pull guard but Krovitzky turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Trejo tries to pull guard but Krovitzky forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Trejo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krovitzky lands a right hand that snaps the head of Trejo backwards. Trejo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Trejo trying to mount his opponent but Krovitzky defends it. Krovitzky is looking to escape. Trejo slows the pace down in half guard. Trejo is looking for a kimura but Krovitzky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Trejo to get the leverage. Krovitzky looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Trejo is trying to control the action in half guard but Krovitzky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Krovitzky wants to get back to his feet. Trejo trying to control the pace. Krovitzky tries to kick Trejo off but Trejo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Krovitzky looks gassed! Krovitzky is not content to let Trejo control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Danny Trejo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Trejo moves into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krovitzky breaks from the clinch.
Trejo throws a sloppy head kick and Krovitzky moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Trejo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Horrible takedown by Krovitzky or perhaps it was just good defense by Trejo which made him look bad. Krovitzky takes the fight into the clinch. Trejo tries for a takedown but Krovitzky manages to get underhooks.

Horrible takedown by Trejo or perhaps it was just good defense by Krovitzky which made him look bad. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Trejo keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trejo clinches up with Krovitzky and pushes him back against the cage. Trejo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Krovitzky uses from the top position. Krovitzky decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Trejo takes the fight into the clinch. Trejo jumps guard but Krovitzky turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Krovitzky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Krovitzky comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Krovitzky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trejo walks away with a smile on his face. Krovitzky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trejo shoots for a takedown but Krovitzky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krovitzky rushes Trejo and presses him up against the cage. Krovitzky lands a right hand that snaps the head of Trejo backwards. Krovitzky jumps guard but Trejo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Krovitzky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Krovitzky tries to clinch up but Trejo circles away and keeps his distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Trejo is defended easily by Krovitzky. Krovitzky moves into range and clinches up with Trejo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krovitzky blocking some punches.

Jason Krovitzky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Danny Trejo's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Krovitzky wants to clinch up but Trejo keeps it at a distance. Krovitzky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Trejo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Krovitzky on his heels. He'll look to pass Krovitzky's guard now, I'm sure. Krovitzky uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Trejo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Krovitzky lands a nice knee to the body. Krovitzky with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Krovitzky's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Trejo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Trejo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Krovitzky gets caught napping as Trejo dives in and scores a takedown. Krovitzky manages to retain guard. Krovitzky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Trejo wants to control from the top but Krovitzky keeps moving. Krovitzky wants to stand up but Trejo is controlling him. Trejo is looking to stand up but Krovitzky won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trejo stops Krovitzky from standing up. Trejo looking to pass the guard. Krovitzky is looking to stand up but Trejo isn't so interested in that idea.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Krovitzky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trejo stands up from Krovitzky's guard - Trejo perhaps looking for a knockout. Krovitzky drives through and clinches with Trejo against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Krovitzky.

Trejo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Krovitzky is pushing Trejo's head away, looking to escape. Trejo manages to hold on to the position though. Krovitzky taking punishment in the form of punches.
Krovitzky pushes Trejo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Trejo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Trejo tries to advance to mount but Krovitzky denies him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trejo trying to control the position but Krovitzky is working away. Krovitzky prevents Trejo from moving into mount. Krovitzky is trying to get back to his feet. Trejo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Krovitzky! Krovitzky is squirming around, avoiding Trejo's attempts to control the action. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Trejo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Krovitzky really wants to buck Trejo off and get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trejo landing strikes from the mount and Krovitzky is in trouble! Krovitzky is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Danny Trejo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Trejo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
