Nakamura comes to the cage accompanied by Enter the Ninja - Die Antwoord. Svardet has chosen "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood as his entrance music. Kors Svardet is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abe Nakamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kors Svardet! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura shoots in looking for a takedown. Svardet tries to sprawl out of it but Nakamura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Svardet manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nakamura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Svardet throws out the jab. Svardet waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nakamura. Svardet lands the left hand.
It looks like Abe Nakamura has been cut. Nakamura shoots in looking for a takedown but Svardet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nakamura's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nakamura fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abe Nakamura. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakamura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Svardet swivels and escapes. Nakamura shoots in and bounces Svardet off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Nakamura is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Svardet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nakamura defends it easily. Nakamura trying to control the position from guard on top but Svardet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Svardet working for a triangle but Nakamura defends it easily.

Nakamura wants to control from the top but Svardet keeps moving. Svardet throws his legs up looking for a submission but Nakamura uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Svardet is trying to escape and Nakamura transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Svardet is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nakamura! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Abe Nakamura! A relieved looking Abe Nakamura thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
