Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Van Drunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Jeknins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Van Drunen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Out of the Body. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Van Drunen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Jeknins! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Drunen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Van Drunen lands in his opponent's guard. Jeknins wants to stand but Van Drunen is controlling the position. Van Drunen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Van Drunen looking to sit in guard and control but Jeknins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jeknins controls from within his opponent's guard. Van Drunen keeping full guard, as Jeknins tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeknins wants to control from the top but Van Drunen keeps moving. Van Drunen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Van Drunen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jeknins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Van Drunen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Van Drunen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Van Drunen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Drunen trying to control the action but Jeknins is working from the bottom. Van Drunen wants to free his trapped foot but Jeknins is holding on for dear life with his legs. Van Drunen is trying to control the action in half guard but Jeknins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Martin Van Drunen. Jeknins misses with a takedown and Van Drunen counters with a single leg into guard. Jeknins didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Van Drunen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jeknins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Drunen pushing down on Jeknins's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Van Drunen wants to pass the guard but Jeknins is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Van Drunen is controlling the pace.
Van Drunen wants to pass to mount but Jeknins is defending the position. Van Drunen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Van Drunen not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Van Drunen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Van Drunen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Van Drunen is trying to control. Jeknins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jeknins is trying to stand back up but Van Drunen is controlling him
Van Drunen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Van Drunen prevents Jeknins from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Van Drunen dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jeknins misses with a takedown attempt enabling Van Drunen to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Bobby Jeknins has been cut. Jeknins moves forwards but Van Drunen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jeknins is rocked! Jeknins walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Van Drunen! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martin Van Drunen! Martin Van Drunen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
