Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Labasan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Tall Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sheldon Labasan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, New Tall Guy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labasan tries to clinch but Guy moves out of range.
Labasan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Guy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Labasan did well to prevent Guy getting side control.
Guy is looking for a kimura here.
Guy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Labasan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guy.
Guy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Labasan to get to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Labasan tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Labasan to the ground. Labasan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Labasan wants to clinch but Guy slips to the side
and Guy counters with a takedown into side control.
Guy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Labasan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Guy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Labasan is trying to escape and Guy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Labasan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Guy! Very nice indeed!
