Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jayden Slash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slash looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Madison has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Slash.
Slash displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Madison looks to land a body kick but Slash moved away.
Madison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slash lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like James Madison has been cut.

Slash's corner calls for a 1-2. Slash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

A head kick lands from Slash that sends Madison to the canvas. Madison tries to scramble back to his feet but Slash brings him back down into side control.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
