Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Suraski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Human Sacrifice. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Suraski! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva. A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Suraski does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Suraski on that attempt. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suraski to the mat! Suraski manages to get full guard. Suraski is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Suraski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Suraski off to one side. Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suraski.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suraski tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch. Silva lands a hook that snaps the head of Suraski backwards. Suraski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well. Rich Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Suraski.

Silva lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Suraski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well. Silva lands with a left to the head. Suraski being controlled against the cage. Suraski is looking to take this one to the mat. Suraski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.
Silva connects with a body shot. Suraski looks gassed! Suraski misses with a body shot.
Suraski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva. This has been an exciting period of action! Suraski looking to score a takedown here. Silva is defending well but Suraski drives through and ends up in Silva's guard. Silva seems keen to control Suraski's posture. Suraski has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Suraski is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put Suraski to sleep! This one is all over!
