Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett The Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Bodini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Assassin comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie's Superbeast. Brett The Assassin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brett The Assassin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alberto Bodini!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Assassin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bodini is out of range and The Assassin settles back down.
Bodini checks a low kick from The Assassin.
Sloppy strikes from Bodini. Those never looked like landing.

The Assassin moves into range and clinches up with Bodini.

The Assassin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The Assassin has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Assassin wants to break the clinch but can't.

The Assassin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bodini sizes up The Assassin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The Assassin throws a solid leg kick but Bodini takes the impact on his shin and smiles at The Assassin.
Bodini throws a right hand that The Assassin ducks under and follows up with a left that The Assassin also avoids with ease.

Bodini drops The Assassin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but The Assassin looks back up at him and smiles so Bodini waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Brett The Assassin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Assassin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bodini paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bodini moves out of range of the leg kick from The Assassin.
Bodini misses with the combination.
Bodini checks a low kick from The Assassin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Assassin tries to get into range but Bodini steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops The Assassin! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Bodini scores the big KO victory!
