Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Blanket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Dam comes to the cage accompanied by C R E A M By The Wu-Tang Clan. Randy Blanket has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Van Dam! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Blanket! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blanket showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Van Dam.
Van Dam lands a left and a right that send Blanket crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Dam thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Randy Blanket has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Van Dam lands a big uppercut and Blanket crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blanket looks OK. Van Dam waves Blanket back to his feet!
Blanket is rocked! Van Dam misses with the combination.
Van Dam misses with a two punch combination.
Van Dam tries to bum rush Blanket with a series of wild strikes but Blanket uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Van Dam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blanket doesn't succeed with the takedown and Van Dam counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Van Dam misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Van Dam shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blanket's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blanket lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Van Dam! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blanket working for a submission but Van Dam is keeping him at bay. Van Dam wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Van Dam on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Van Dam tries to get out of the position. Van Dam trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Van Dam is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Blanket locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Van Dam is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Randy Blanket! Randy Blanket is the new heavyweight champion! Randy Blanket decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
