Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joey Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Lockdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diamond comes into the arena with Youth Gone Wild- Skid Row blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lockdown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Joey Diamond has been cut.
Diamond misses with a series of wild punches.
Lockdown throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lockdown slips a straight right by Diamond.
Diamond misses with a series of wild punches.
Lockdown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Diamond rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lockdown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Diamond lands with a hook. Lockdown tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Diamond misses with a few strikes there.
Diamond throws a solid leg kick but Lockdown takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Diamond.
Diamond pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lockdown back to the cage. Diamond follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Diamond, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lockdown lands with a good body shot.
Diamond throws a right and a left that Lockdown avoids nicely.
Diamond scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lockdown shoots in for a double leg but Diamond sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lockdown tries for a takedown but Diamond circles away easily
and Diamond cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Diamond throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lockdown takes a swing at Diamond's ribcage but misses.
Lockdown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diamond stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Diamond tries to bum rush Lockdown with a series of wild strikes but Lockdown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lockdown scoring well with a low kick there.
Diamond is breathing heavily.
Diamond throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lockdown.
Lockdown throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Diamond there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lockdown drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diamond on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diamond tries to get out of the position.
Diamond wants to stand up but Lockdown is controlling him.

Lockdown is pushing down on Diamond's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diamond is fighting to maintain full guard but Lockdown has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lockdown has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Diamond defend it? Lockdown steps over the head and cranks it - Diamond is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lockdown!

After winning the bout, Chico Lockdown thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
