Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Crews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crews comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Born on the FM Waves - Against Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dario Crews! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carson drives through and clinches with Crews against the cage.

Carson lands a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crews moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Crews throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Carson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carson is looking to wear down Crews with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A nice combination there by Carson.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carson lands a really nice looking cross but Crews seems unphased.

Crews shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Crews has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Carson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Scott Carson. Well Carson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
