Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kickin Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Khasm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khasm has chosen Kickstart My Heart as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kickin Rad could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kevin Khasm's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kickin Rad! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Khasm! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khasm thows a left - swing and a miss! Khasm fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Khasm keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kevin Khasm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rad throws a front kick aimed at Khasm's knee but Khasm avoids it well. Good shot there by Rad.
It looks like Kevin Khasm has been cut. Rad avoids a kick to the body.
Khasm moves out of range of the leg kick from Rad. Khasm closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rad's guard. Rad working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khasm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khasm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This has been an exciting period of action! Rad is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Khasm lands a couple of decent looking shots. Khasm loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rad working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Khasm. Rad looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khasm is one step ahead there. Rad is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khasm won't allow Rad to sweep him here. Khasm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rad is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Khasm, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khasm has his foot on Rad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rad works his way back into a safe position though. Rad sitting in guard, not really doing much. Khasm looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Khasm looking for a guillotine here but Rad defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khasm not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rad trying to control but Khasm is working from the bottom. Rad got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khasm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rad has managed to get both his arms back between Khasm's legs - danger averted. Khasm keeping moving, preventing Rad from controlling successfully. Khasm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rad can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khasm swivels though and keeps the full guard. Khasm looking for subs off his back but Rad has passed one foot through into half guard.
Rad lands with a punch from half guard. Khasm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rad is working away from the top position though. Khasm is looking for a sweep. Rad is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khasm missing with punches from the bottom.
Khasm trying to get back to full guard but Rad takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Khasm is looking to improve his position but Rad isn't that keen on the idea. Rad scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Khasm?
Khasm tries to hold on but Rad postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Rad controlling the pace for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rad raining down hammerfists from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kickin Rad dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kevin Khasm's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Khasm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rad's waist but Rad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Khasm off to one side. Khasm fails with the takedown. Rad lets loose with a powerful body kick. Khasm will feel that in the morning. Rad connects with the punch.
That has opened up Kevin Khasm's cut even more. That kick from Rad tenderised Khasm's leg. Khasm is trying to keep his angry face on. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rad scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rad tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rad is looking to slow Khasm down with leg kicks. An inside leg kick lands from Rad. Kickin Rad is winning the standup battle so far. Khasm takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
An inside leg kick from Rad misses. Rad swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rad scores with a hook to the body. Khasm takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Khasm is breathing heavily. Rad has Khasm up against the cage in a clinch.
Rad works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rad throws an elbow that misses.
Rad scores a nice knee to the body.
Rad is struggling to control the position. Rad unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rad stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Rad using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khasm prevents a body shot from Rad. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rad lands an elbow just above Khasm 's eye.
The cut above Kevin Khasm's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Rad throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Khasms head.
Kevin Khasm's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Rad unloads a knee to the mid-section. Khasm lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rad creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kevin Khasm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kickin Rad! Kickin Rad retains his heavyweight title! After the big win, Kickin Rad made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors - - - - - All Nutrients 160 - - - - - and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
