Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stubb kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Paper Scratcher. Shields has chosen In The End as his entrance music. Michael Stubb has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stubb but Stubb pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Michael Stubb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stubb drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stubb is working to tighten is grip on Shields's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shields has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stubb is really squeezing tight and eventually Shields passes out! Stubb breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
