The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kenny has Mellendrez up against the cage in a clinch.
Mellendrez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kenny is trying to keep an underhook but Mellendrez manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kenny is staying active underneath Mellendrez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kenny sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kenny has his feet on Mellendrez's thighs here. He's pushed Mellendrez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mellendrez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
