Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estacio da Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by Machinegun. da Fonseca has chosen "Chokechain" - 3oh!3 as his entrance music. Daniel Hansen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
da Fonseca changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hansen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
da Fonseca wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hansen keeps working.
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hansen tries to bench press da Fonseca off him but da Fonseca keeps the position.
Hansen gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
da Fonseca has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hansen's face.

da Fonseca closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hansen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if da Fonseca gets his way!
da Fonseca connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Hansen to escape the position.

da Fonseca had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hansen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. da Fonseca Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hansen's back instead.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hansen is on top in guard.
