Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Danny Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Kelly!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greene fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kelly, pushing him back against the ropes.
Greene prevents a body shot from Kelly.
Greene lands a nice elbow.
Greene lands a knee to the body.
Kelly can't break the clinch.
Greene putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kelly in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Kelly takes an elbow to the forehead.
Greene works on Kelly's body with a couple of short punches.
Greene lands a shoulder strike.
Kelly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A right hook to the body lands for Greene.
Greene throws a knee to the head but misses.

and Greene counters with an inside leg kick.
Kelly walks into a stiff left hand from Greene.

Greene misses with a wild combination.
Kelly is still on wobbly legs! Can Greene finish him?
Kelly throws a front kick aimed at Greene's knee but Greene avoids it well.
Greene delivers a nice body kick.
Kelly throws a lazy head kick
and Greene makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Greene fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kelly has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kelly seems to have recovered his senses.
Greene misses with the combination.

Greene effectively controlling the action here.
Greene unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kelly lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Greene lands a damaging elbow.
Kelly wants to break the clinch but can't.

Greene breaks from the clinch.
Kelly throws a lazy uppercut
and Greene counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Greene dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kelly misses with a low kick.

Kelly just misses with a punch to the body.
Kelly throws a jab but it's blocked by Greene.
A head kick misses from Greene.
Kelly sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kelly throws a leg kick but Greene checks it.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Greene moved out of range nicely.

Greene slips under a jab from Kelly.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Greene, right into the meat.
Dan Kelly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kelly just misses with a punch to the body.
Greene turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kelly throws a jab when Greene was well out of range.
Kelly throws a series of punches but Greene moves out of range.
Good exchange - Kelly coming out on top.

It looks like Danny Greene has been cut.
Kelly is breathing heavily.
Kelly throws a jab when Greene was well out of range.
Greene pushes Kelly away with a front kick.
Kelly with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Greene to score with a decent uppercut.
Greene misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kelly fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Greene is out of range.
Greene is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kelly can do to turn this around?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Greene has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Kelly to the canvas! Can Kelly beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Kelly was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Greene is your winner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Danny Greene!
Danny Greene decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
