Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye of the tiger. Davison has chosen Nowhere to run as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Tommy Lotus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Davison! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lotus tries to clinch up but Davison circles away and keeps his distance. Lotus closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Lotus's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lotus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lotus forces Davison back against the ropes and clinches. Lotus breaks from the clinch.
Lotus thuds a left hand into Davison's body. Davison throws a hook but Lotus avoids it easily. Davison throws a series of punches but Lotus moves out of range. Lotus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lotus pushes Davison up against the ropes in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Lotus's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lotus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davison has him pressed against the ropes. Lotus blocking some punches.
Lotus blocks an uppercut.
Davison misses with the head strike.
Lotus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lotus is looking to clinch. Davison rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lotus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lotus digs a good body shot into Davison's ribs. Lotus wants to clinch up but Davison keeps it at a distance. A big right from Davison misses. Davison doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lotus tries to clinch but Davison moves out of range. Lotus keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davison. Joe Davison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davison throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lotus sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lotus jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Lotus counters with a nice body shot. Lotus scores with a one two! Davison had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Davison throws a jab when Lotus was well out of range. Lotus lands with a good body shot. Davison misses with the combination.
Lotus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Davison on the side of the head. Lotus punishes Davison's body with a nice straight punch. Davison looks to land a right hand but Lotus moved out of range. Lotus feints a jab promting Davison to slip. Lotus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Lotus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lotus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Davison taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lotus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davison misses with a looping left. Davison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lotus manages to avoid it. Davison doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lotus moves in looking to clinch but Davison pushes him off. Nice uppercut lands for Lotus. That snapped Davison's head back.
Lotus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Davison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lotus.
Lotus is looking to wear down Davison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lotus slips a straight right by Davison. Lotus clinches up against the ropes. Lotus manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Davison misses with a right hand and Lotus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Davison is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lotus is keeping busy. Lotus breaks the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Lotus. Davison might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Lotus throws a one two combo.
Lotus defending well as Davison loads up on a big left hand. Davison throws a hook to the side of Lotus's head but Lotus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The fight stays on the outside here - Lotus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lotus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lotus moves out of range as Davison strikes. A combination from Lotus does no damage. Lotus is working the combinations to good effect here. Lotus tries to clinch up but Davison circles away and keeps his distance. Davison keeps the fight on the outside. Davison misses with a looping left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lotus clinches with his opponent.
Lotus is trying to break the clinch but Davison is controlling him. Lotus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davison swings widly with a right hand
and Lotus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lotus feints a jab promting Davison to slip. Lotus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Lotus looks to clinch and Davison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lotus gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lotus wants to break free but Davison has control.
Davison keeps control of Lotus as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lotus is trying to push Davison away but Davison has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Davison tries to break free but Lotus pushes him back against the ropes. Lotus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lotus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Davison misses with an uppercut. The fighters circling - Davison throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lotus lands a nice hook to Davison's body. Davison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Lotus dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Davison throws out a loose jab but Lotus uses good head movement to avoid it. Jab by Lotus. Davison throws a right hand that misses
and Lotus counters with a three punch combo that has Davison backing up. Davison nods at Lotus to acknowledge the strikes. Lotus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lotus slips a straight right by Davison. A telegraphed right hand from Davison misses the target. Davison circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tommy Lotus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lotus throws a right and a left that Davison avoids nicely. Lotus instigates a clinch. Davison throws a head punch that misses. Lotus manages to break the clinch.

and Lotus counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lotus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lotus fails to land with a series of punches.
Lotus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Lotus slips under a jab from Davison. Davison misses with an uppercut
and Lotus counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lotus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Davison back to the ropes. Lotus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Lotus doesn't manage to clinch there - Davison circles away.
Lotus ducks under a wild hook from Davison. Lotus drives through and clinches with Davison against the ropes.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Davison just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lotus's brow. Davison goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lotus scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Davison throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lotus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Davison, pushing him back against the ropes. Lotus breaks the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lotus fails in his attempt to clinch. Lotus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lotus is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lotus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lotus moves out of range as Davison strikes. Lotus slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lotus works Davison's body with a nice hook. Davison throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lotus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lotus scrambles back to his feet. Lotus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Davison on the side of the head. Davison throws a hook to the side of Lotus's head but Lotus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lotus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lotus moves in looking to clinch but Davison pushes him off. Davison has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Davison is rocked! A punch combination from Lotus misses. Davison is still on wobbly legs! Can Lotus finish him? Lotus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davison walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tommy Lotus! A relieved looking Tommy Lotus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
