Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Romo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Go Tenks! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tenks wants to clinch. Romo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tenks eats them both and turns towards Romo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Romo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Frank Romo has been cut. Romo swats away the attempt to clinch by Tenks. Tenks thumps Romo with a low kick. A left and a right from Romo both land. Nice combination. A head kick by Romo misses and Tenks counters with a big head kick but Romo shrugs it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tenks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Romo lands a nice hook to Tenks's body. Tenks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Romo scores with a nice head shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Romo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Romo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tenks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. This has been an exciting period of action! Romo punishes Tenks's body with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tenks takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The fight moves into the clinch position. Romo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Frank Romo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Romo misses with a punch on the inside.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Romo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tenks fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Go Tenks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Romo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romo throws a jab but it's blocked by Tenks.
And that's the end of the fight! Go Tenks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tenks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
