Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kari Tapio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Donkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Kari Tapio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 2, fighting out of London, Manny Donkers! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tapio takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Donkers misses with a body punch
and Tapio counters with a big head kick but Donkers shrugs it off. Donkers tries to clinch up but Tapio circles away and keeps his distance. Manny Donkers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body kick there by Tapio. Donkers darts in trying to clinch and Tapio counters with a nice low kick that buckles Donkers's knee momentarily. Tapio throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Donkers wants to clinch. Donkers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Donkers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tapio, pushing him back against the cage. Tapio has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Donkers regains guard immediately. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tapio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tapio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Donkers dives on top into guard. Tapio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Donkers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Donkers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tapio is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Donkers is aware though and is defending well. Tapio trying to keep a closed guard but Donkers is proving a slippery customer.
Donkers is looking to stand up but Tapio won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tapio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donkers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tapio has an active guard here but Donkers has managed to pass into half guard.
Tapio wants to improve his position but Donkers is controlling well.
Tapio looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Donkers tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tapio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tapio is trying to maintain the position but Donkers is very close to passing his half guard. Tapio looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tapio is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Donkers wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tapio looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tapio tries to get to full guard but Donkers has control of the leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tapio actively working from the bottom here. Tapio actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kari Tapio dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Donkers misses with a looping right. Donkers misses with an uppercut. Tapio saw that one coming. Donkers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tapio paws at him with a jab and circles away. Donkers wants to clinch up but Tapio keeps it at a distance. Donkers misses with a low kick.
Donkers is looking to clinch but Tapio is avoiding it.
Donkers fails to land with a series of punches.
Donkers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Donkers throws a jab when Tapio was well out of range. Tapio tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Donkers is able to avoid easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tapio connects with a solid leg kick. Donkers lands a nice shot that snaps Tapio's head back.
Donkers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tapio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Donkers gets a clinch. A short uppercut from Donkers. Donkers unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tapio is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Donkers tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Donkers throws a head punch that misses. Tapio is trying to drag Donkers to the mat but Donkers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Tapio is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kari Tapio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donkers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tapio backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tapio is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Donkers pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tapio works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Donkers keeping full guard, as Tapio tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tapio slips nicely into half guard. Tapio is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tapio is looking for a kimura but Donkers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tapio to get the leverage. Tapio is working for a kimura but Donkers is defending it quite comfortably.
Tapio seems to be looking for submissions.
Tapio wants to work for an arm triangle but Donkers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tapio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Donkers defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Donkers pushes Tapio off looking to stand but Tapio dives back in and keeps control.
Tapio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Donkers keeps working. Donkers tries to kick Tapio off but Tapio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tapio is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Donkers sees it coming and defends easily. Tapio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kari Tapio will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Tapio lands a leg kick that knocks Donkers off balance momentarily. Donkers wants to clinch but Tapio slips to the side and Tapio counters with a two punch combo. Donkers tries to clinch up but Tapio circles away and keeps his distance. Donkers dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tapio is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Donkers moves to clinch but Tapio breaks away and Tapio counters with a nice double leg into guard. Donkers wants to stand and escape but Tapio is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tapio seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tapio tries to free his leg and advance position but Donkers is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tapio postures up in Donkers's guard and throws a big left but Donkers blocks it. Tapio is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Donkers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Donkers has escaped and now he's on top! Tapio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Donkers is one step ahead there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tapio looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Donkers stopping the sweep attempt from Tapio. Kari Tapio overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tapio is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Manny Donkers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kari Tapio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tapio content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Tapio moves into full mount! Donkers won't be happy about that! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Donkers is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kari Tapio showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tapio, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Kari Tapio! Kari Tapio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
