The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonsson keeps the fight on the outside.
Chan stuffs the takedown attempt from Jonsson. Jonsson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jonsson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chan's guard.
Jonsson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jonsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Chan is retaining full guard.

Jonsson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Chan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jonsson is in Chan's guard.

Chan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jonsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jonsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jonsson takes a little break here. Chan wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Jonsson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Jonsson has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Jonsson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jonsson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jonsson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Jonsson cracks Chan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Matt Chan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
