Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agaton Piaskun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corbett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Men at Work - Down Under. The key to victory for Nathan Corbett has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Agaton Piaskun! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corbett takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Nathan Corbett has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Corbett looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Corbett throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Piaskun ducks under a wild hook from Corbett. Corbett lands a jab to Piaskun's midsection. Corbett clinches. Corbett misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Piaskun.

Corbett taking a breather. Corbett seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Piaskun is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Piaskun dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Corbett successfully pulls guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corbett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice uppercut lands for Corbett. That snapped Piaskun's head back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Corbett moves in looking to clinch but Piaskun pushes him off. A slow jab from Corbett misses its intended target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piaskun stuns Corbett with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Piaskun staying out of range there. Corbett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Piaskun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Corbett throws out the jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Piaskun is looking to score with low kicks. A combination from Corbett does no damage. Corbett moves out of range of the body kick from Piaskun.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corbett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Piaskun moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Corbett digs a good body shot into Piaskun's ribs. Nathan Corbett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Piaskun misses with an attempted mid kick.

It looks like Agaton Piaskun has been cut. Corbett throws a jab when Piaskun was well out of range. Corbett checks a leg kick. Nathan Corbett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Piaskun lands with a right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Corbett throws a predictable looking body shot
and Piaskun counters with an inside leg kick. Piaskun throws a push kick but Corbett slaps the foot to one side. Corbett connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Piaskun momentarily.
Nathan Corbett is winning the standup battle so far. A low kick from Corbett misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Piaskun ducks under a wild hook from Corbett.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corbett missing with a left hand there. Piaskun was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Piaskun throws a leg kick and Corbett counters with a left and a right that stings Piaskun. Corbett leaves Piaskun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A nice inside leg kick there by Corbett. That's going to slow Piaskun down. Piaskun lands a glancing blow to the side of Corbett's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Corbett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Corbett thuds his right hand into Piaskun's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Piaskun slips under a jab from Corbett. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Piaskun turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Piaskun. Corbett is looking to score with low kicks. Corbett tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Piaskun counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Piaskun scoring with some ground and pound. Piaskun throws a big elbow that misses. Corbett is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piaskun trying to control the position from guard on top but Corbett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Piaskun tries to free his leg and advance position but Corbett is retaining full guard. Piaskun throws an elbow that misses. Corbett uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Piaskun's guard. Nice move by Corbett! Piaskun controlling Corbett's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corbett wants to control from the top but Piaskun keeps moving. Piaskun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Corbett trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Piaskun pulls Corbett in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Agaton Piaskun was stalling too much, according to the referee. Corbett missing with a left hand there. Piaskun was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Piaskun moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Corbett pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Corbett throws a leg kick that misses. Corbett avoids a low kick by using good footwork. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Piaskun closes the distance and clinches up with Corbett, looking for a takedown. Piaskun pushes Corbett against the cage but Corbett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Corbett fails with an attempt to clinch.

Piaskun shoots in looking for a takedown but Corbett manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Piaskun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Piaskun ducks under a wild hook from Corbett. Corbett throws a hook to the side of Piaskun's head but Piaskun sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Corbett misses with a looping left. Piaskun misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Corbett.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piaskun wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Corbett clinches with his opponent.

Piaskun throws a punch but it's blocked by Corbett. Corbett lands an elbow inside that Piaskun shrugs off. Corbett using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Corbett tries to pull guard but Piaskun won't allow it.
Corbett stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Piaskun trying to control the position but instead, Corbett has worked for underhooks and has pushed Piaskun into the cage. Nathan Corbett has scored more points in the clinch so far. Piaskun can't get the takedown.

Piaskun staying out of range there. Corbett lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Piaskun throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Corbett tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Piaskun is in Corbett's guard. Corbett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Corbett keeping moving, preventing Piaskun from controlling successfully. Corbett is trying to control the position but Piaskun postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corbett tries to land a sweep but no joy. Piaskun in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Piaskun sitting in guard here, content to control. Piaskun trying to control but Corbett is working from the bottom.

Corbett manages to retain guard. Piaskun throws an elbow that misses. Corbett uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Piaskun's guard. Nice move by Corbett! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Corbett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Agaton Piaskun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Piaskun keeping full guard, as Corbett tries to pass. Piaskun keeping moving, preventing Corbett from controlling successfully. Corbett works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corbett is stalling here. Piaskun is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Corbett seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Piaskun has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Piaskun with the ground and pound but Corbett regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Piaskun takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Piaskun controlling the pace. Corbett wants to control but Piaskun is keeping busy.
Piaskun trying to control the action but Corbett is working from the bottom. Corbett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Piaskun pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corbett taking some punishment here, with Piaskun in his half guard. Piaskun throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Piaskun not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nathan Corbett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Corbett tries to roll over but Piaskun keeps him under control. Corbett is working hard here to advance position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Piaskun seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Corbett does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Agaton Piaskun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Corbett has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
