The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hhhhh throws a series of punches but Mai moves out of range.
Mai shoots in and bounces Hhhhh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mai passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Mai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hhhhh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mai is looking to take a break and control but Hhhhh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mai wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hhhhh, who protects the arm well.

Mai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hhhhh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mai working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mai looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Mai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hhhhh keeps working.
Mai is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Mai has hold of Hhhhh's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hhhhh seems comfortable defending it but Mai has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hhhhh is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hhhhh is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mai couldn't care less - he's delighted!
