The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vlad tries to land a front kick but Emiliano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Vlad swats away the attempt to clinch by Emiliano.
Vlad plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Vlad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch but Emiliano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vlad lands with a cross.
Emiliano moves in looking to clinch but Vlad pushes him off.
Emiliano moves into the clinch.
Vlad wants to get back to striking at distance but Emiliano won't allow it.
Vlad is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Vlad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Emiliano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vlad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Emiliano's waist but Emiliano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vlad off to one side.
Vlad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emiliano clinches with his opponent.

Vlad misses with a knee to the head.
Vlad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Filipe Emiliano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mocny Vlad.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Vlad shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vlad showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vlad is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vlad tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Vlad is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Emiliano is bucking up trying to escape but Vlad cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Vlad looking to control but Emiliano is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Emiliano tries to reverse the position but Vlad maintains control.
Vlad can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Emiliano is looking to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Emiliano is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Vlad connects with a bit shot that sees Emiliano covering up! More strikes from Vlad and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Vlad is our winner by TKO!
