Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Oconnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladislav Draxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladislav Draxx told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oconnell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Oconnell lands with a kick to the ribs.
Draxx throws a nice looking combination but Oconnell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oconnell misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Draxx.
Oconnell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Oconnell.
Oconnell misses with a wild combination.
Oconnell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Draxx is rocked!
Draxx doesn't manage to clinch there - Oconnell circles away.

Oconnell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oconnell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Draxx moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oconnell closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Draxx looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Oconnell cracks the inside of Draxx's front leg.
Oconnell scores with a crisp jab that stopped Draxx in his tracks.
A left and a right from Oconnell both land. Nice combination.
Oconnell lands a two punch combo.
Oconnell connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Draxx tumbling to the canvas! Oconnell pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Draxx was done - good stoppage!
