Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezio Auditore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johonny Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johonny Crash is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ezio Auditore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johonny Crash!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auditore is looking to clinch.
Auditore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crash tries to avoid it but Auditore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crash to the ground. Crash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Auditore shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crash pinned against the cage. Crash gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Crash fails with the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Auditore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Auditore tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Crash counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crash.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Auditore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Auditore swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crash is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Crash trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Auditore wants to get back to his feet but Crash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crash got a little sloppy there for a moment and Auditore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crash has managed to get both his arms back between Auditore's legs - danger averted.

Crash controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Auditore might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Crash gets to his feet. Auditore looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Crash rushes Auditore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Crash manages to pull guard.

Crash is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Auditore defends well.
Auditore stops Crash from standing up.
Auditore wants to stand but Crash has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Auditore looking to sit in guard and control but Crash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Crash pushes down on Auditore's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Auditore is trying to stand back up but Crash is controlling him
Auditore trying to hold on to Crash's head to control him but Crash postures up.
Auditore is staying active underneath Crash, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Crash wants to free his trapped foot but Auditore is holding on for dear life with his legs.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Auditore tries to close the distance and clinch but Crash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Auditore fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Crash feints and as Auditore raises his hands in defense, Crash changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Crash wants to control from the top but Auditore keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Auditore is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crash is controlling him.

Auditore seems a little lost for a moment, as Crash dominates the positioning.

Crash decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Auditore moves to clinch but Crash breaks away
and Crash counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Auditore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Auditore somewhat.

Auditore misses with a head kick.

Crash drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Crash stands up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Auditore checks a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Auditore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Auditore is fending him off so far but Crash persists. Nope, Auditore circles away and we're back to standing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crash connects with a nice short shot to Auditore's temple.

Crash has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Auditore's face.

Auditore tries to hold on but Crash pushes him away.
Auditore is looking to improve his position but Crash isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crash cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Crash prevents Auditore from getting the reversal.
Crash tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Crash in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Johonny Crash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Crash steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Auditore. That one must have hurt.

Auditore takes the fight into the clinch.

Auditore has Crash pushed against the cage.

Auditore tightens his grip and picks Crash up, before dumping him to the ground. Crash manages to land in guard.

Auditore wants to control from the top but Crash keeps moving.
Crash seems keen to control Auditore's posture.

Auditore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crash's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Crash keeping moving, preventing Auditore from controlling successfully.
Auditore throws a big right hand that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crash is on top in guard.
