Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kaeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaeo comes to the cage accompanied by On Fire. Norris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jayz(Run This Town). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaeo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Norris tries to close the distance and clinch but Kaeo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kaeo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Norris's half guard.
Norris keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Norris is trying to get back to full guard.
Kaeo wants to free his trapped foot but Norris is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kaeo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Norris tries to roll over but Kaeo keeps him under control.

Norris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

and Kaeo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fight stays on the outside here - Norris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kaeo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Norris wants to stall.

Kaeo tries to circle away but Norris has him pinned against the cage.
Norris keeps control of Kaeo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kaeo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Norris moves in looking to clinch but Kaeo pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Norris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kaeo walks away with a smile on his face. Norris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Norris throws a leg kick but Kaeo moved away.
Kaeo tries for a takedown but Norris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Kaeo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Norris has Kaeo pressed against the cage, preventing Kaeo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Norris gets tackled into the cage by Kaeo. Kaeo maintains the clinch.
Norris keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kaeo's efforts to push away.

Norris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kaeo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Norris tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kaeo is able to avoid easily.
Dan Kaeo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaeo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kaeo stands up.
Kaeo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Norris wants to clinch up but Kaeo keeps it at a distance.
Norris slips under a jab.
Kaeo clinches up against the cage.
Kaeo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Norris tries to clinch there but Kaeo circles away.
Kaeo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Norris looking to score a takedown here. Kaeo is defending well but Norris drives through and ends up in Kaeo's guard.
Kaeo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Norris tries to free his leg and advance position but Kaeo is retaining full guard.
Norris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Norris distracts Kaeo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Norris lands a couple of elbows.

Norris loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaeo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kaeo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Norris is controlling him.
Norris throws an elbow that misses. Kaeo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Norris's guard. Nice move by Kaeo!

Norris is trying to control the position but Kaeo postures up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fred Norris wasn't active enough on the ground.
Norris wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Norris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kaeo darts in and clinches Norris up against the cage.
Kaeo manages to break the clinch.
Kaeo drops Norris with a beautiful combination! Norris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kaeo is looking for the KO!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Kaeo counters with a crisp one two that drops Norris! Kaeo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Norris to his feet! Norris is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kaeo batters Norris with a massive right followed by a huge left! Norris is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Kaeo lands a final crushing right hand to drop Norris to the mat with a gruesome thud! Kaeo is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
