Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rydolf Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Piltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karel comes to the ring accompanied by Hail Czech. Piltz has chosen I'm too Sexy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mark Piltz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rydolf Karel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Piltz! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piltz is looking to score with low kicks. Karel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Piltz as he avoids it easily. Karel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Piltz wants to hold on but Karel pushes him away. Karel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Piltz is looking to escape. Piltz is in all sorts of trouble here.
Karel lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Karel trying to control but Piltz is having none of it. Piltz wants to control but Karel is having none of it. Piltz is squirming around, avoiding Karel's attempts to control the action. Piltz is looking to get to half guard. Piltz wants to control but Karel is having none of it.

Karel avoids the attempt from Piltz to control. Piltz takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Karel has hold of Piltz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Piltz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Karel wants to control the pace but Piltz is squirming around nicely. Piltz working to try and regain half guard.

Karel avoids the attempt from Piltz to control. Karel trying to control but he's not successful this time. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Piltz is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Piltz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Karel is keen to just control but Piltz is a slippery customer. Piltz wants to control but Karel passes into side.
Piltz tries to bench press Karel off him but Karel keeps the position. Piltz is not content to let Karel control the position. Karel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Piltz on the ground. Piltz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Karel cracks Piltz with a big right hand but Piltz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Piltz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Karel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Karel lands an elbow. Karel just content to control the position. Piltz is not content to let Karel control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piltz regains half guard. Piltz wants to control but Karel is keeping busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karel moves into full mount! Piltz won't be happy about that! Piltz working to try and regain half guard.
Karel trying to control but Piltz is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Piltz really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Karel trying to control but he's not successful this time. Piltz tries to hold on but Karel pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rydolf Karel dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Karel fails with the takedown and Piltz counters with a nice uppercut. Karel swings for the body but Piltz moves out of range.

Karel has a takedown stuffed. A punch combination from Piltz misses. Karel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rydolf Karel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Piltz!
Karel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Piltz as he avoids it easily. Piltz tries to clinch but Karel is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karel thows a left - swing and a miss! Karel tries to clinch there but Piltz circles away.
Piltz misses with a looping left. Piltz fails in his attempt to clinch. Piltz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Karel's sensitive parts. Karel dips to his left and cracks Piltz with an uppercut! Karel shoots in for a double leg but Piltz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Piltz closes the distance and pushes Karel back into the ropes. Karel takes an elbow to the forehead. Karel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Piltz wants to control but Karel postures up. Piltz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piltz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Karel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Karel's back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karel wants to control his opponent's hands but Piltz gets his hands free. Rydolf Karel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Piltz has got one arm under Karel's chin. This could be trouble... Karel trying to control the other hand but Piltz gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Karel has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mark Piltz! Mark Piltz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
