Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jori Jujipallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armo Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jujipallo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Mean Kitty Song . Kuusela has chosen Promentory as his entrance music. Armo Kuusela has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Kuusela misses.

Kuusela feints and then cracks Jujipallo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jujipallo down.
Armo Kuusela is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kuusela. Jujipallo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kuusela walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jujipallo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kuusela throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jujipallo shoots in and gets a takedown into Kuusela's guard.

Jujipallo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kuusela defends it easily.

Jujipallo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kuusela doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kuusela manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kuusela is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jujipallo wants to improve his position but Kuusela is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kuusela looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Jujipallo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kuusela is now in Jujipallo's guard. A big mistake from Jujipallo there, giving up the dominant position!
Kuusela got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jujipallo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuusela has managed to get both his arms back between Jujipallo's legs - danger averted.
Kuusela must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jujipallo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kuusela throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jujipallo's body to avoid the submission. Jujipallo has instead reached around Kuusela's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jujipallo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
